33cl Bottle from DSG, thanks Barak! It’s quite old already, at least 3 years I guess. Wasn’t very eager to try it, as I was warned about this beer being quite hot. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of old cookies, sweet malts, peach. Flavour is light sweet, light malty, some old cookies, spicy hot chili finish, slight burn, but not overly so, sweet fruity/malty ending. Base beer is very thin imho. Not undrinkable.

Bottle 330ml.

[ As HaDubim Esh ].
[ Courtesy of my European Local swap 7.0 - tomer ]. Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grass, light earthy fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity, chili, hot chili. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150117]

“A middling American Pale Ale with a nice Tabasco spiciness that will please fans of spicy food.” 330 ml. bottle @ home. Obtained in the big Israeli trade. Hazy orange / hazy apricot, little off-white bubbles. Nose is very odd, sweet aspirin mixed with orange, some tropical fruit hops but aspirin does play a huge part here. Taste is obstructed a bit by higher carbonation, sweet aspirin, quite yeasty upfront, light apricot hops, light yeasty tropical fruits, tad sweetish leading into a reasonable lingering, chili spiciness that is reminiscent of Tabasco, some light Thai chili in oil. Spiciness on this one is quite strong in a nice way, this is actual chili & not that bad herbal chili that you get in plenty of chili beers. The taste really reminds me of beer mixed with Tabasco which I have tried a couple of times. It feels too thin with a touch too much carbonation. The base itself isn’t too impressive but okay but did nail the chili taste quite well. If you like Tabasco, I am pretty sure that you will enjoy it. The spiciness is quite strong & really lingers in a pleasing type of way. With a stronger base this could really impress.

Thanks Keren. Clear dark yellow, white lacing, lasting foam. decent hoppy aroma, some pepper tones. More an IPA taste to me, another good beer from this brewer. (Velp 201502)

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Hazy light yellow with quickly diminishing small off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma, light chili notes, tropical fruits. Nice hoppy flavor, tropical fruits, a bit malty, balanced, moderate hot finish. Long lasting light hot aftertaste. Light carbonation, light-bodied.

Thanks to Barak for sharing this pepper beer. Gold color with a thin lasting white head. Nice fresh citrus hop nose. But this is a hot beer. The initial flavor is light beer with some hops and then the heat just goes crazy. Long, almost painful pepper heat that grows as you sit there. Not bad for a tricky flavor to add to beer.

Bottle, thnx to Tomer, cheers! Pours a clear golden beer without any suspicious things going on. Decent carbonation, small white head. Aroma is vegetables, pepper and spices with yeast. Flavor is mildy sweet but it has this big, peppery sensation going on! Massive pepper in the start, body and finish of this beer. I like peppery beers, but the moutfheel of this is so thin and I like my pepper beers to be a bit more complex. This is just straight forward pepper burn all over. Not really impressive... sadly I can’t drink another beer now, since I won’t taste anything anymore..
