(HaDubim Yonek HaDvash Belgian Dark Ale) From kerenmk, thanks! Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 8%
Brown coloured body, good sized tan head sitting on top, with good retention although a bit thin.
Aroma of sweet dark fruits, prunes, not very strong though. Bubblegum too, white wine notes, caramel.
Taste is sweet, with lots of caramel, not as complex as the aroma, bubblegum, sugars, red fruis, prunes, marmalade. Well hidden alcohol.
Medium thin body, soft carbonation.
Not bad, on the contrary. rayaron (1919) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - SEP 25, 2014

Bottle received in trade from RobertDale, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a solid dark brown that would have been fairly clear had I Caught the dregs at the bottom before they made their way into my glass. Decent sized tightly bubbled off white head slowly recedes to a cap on top. Aromas of caramel and brown sugar with a bit of sour cherry lactic starting to invade. Light perfume and a hint of earthiness round out the aroma. Wow the flavor is pretty solid and not at all what I was thinking based on the aroma. Solid caramel and brown sugar base with hints of dark dried fruits like prunes and cherries. Slight earthy yeasty funk comes through midway before a fairly dry finish that leaves a light sugar fruity yeastiness. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet lingering mouthfeel. This is a pretty nice Dark ale, it surprised me a bit, I really enjoyed it. zvsn (2188) - ISRAEL - SEP 14, 2013
