2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark copper with no head. Totally flat. Cheesy aromas, no carbonation, slightly acidic, some oxydized malts in the finale. No hops. Awful example!
Old bottle from my cellar. Smooth sweetish body with a sticky malty sweetness. Heavy with roast and caramel. The bitterness is quite low, refreshing parts there. Long sticky heavy caramel molasses aftertaste. probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2014
750 ml bottle from Bieropholie, served cool in a tulip glass, shared 07NOV2011. Sweet, rich maltiness with not much, sort of vinous, a bit oxidized. Medium body and carbonation. Similarly malty, some hop character, a bit of booze. Should have opened this sooner... VastActiv (7592) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 30, 2014
Bottle 0.33l at home. ABV 10.0%. No BBE visible, 2-3 years old. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, sweetness, some hops and malts. Probably very different beer as fresh. Not very enjoyable anymore. Beerhunter111 (22458) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2014

In short: A lifeless, tired, dank, sweet fruity amber ale. Very lame.ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAR 4, 2013
How: Bottle 750ml plastic corked & caged. Consumed a few weeks after receiving it through private importation (but not sure about freshness).
The look: Cloudy dark amber body topped by a short-lived medium beige head.
In long: Nose is dank hops, baked fruits, moldy bread, sushi roll green algae thingy. Taste is the opposite of a fresh and bright beer, everything here feels damp, moldy, tired. Baked fruits, berries jam, moldy bread, caramel, pie crust, cheap cheese, juicy sweetness sensation, wet old cookies, awkward spiciness. Body is lifeless with a thick oily juicy mouthfeel and sparse but hard bubbles. To my north-american palette this sure didn’t feel like a Double IPA. Pretty much the only thing positive I can say about this beer is that there is almost no alcohol presence. Pretty much everything else is a train wreck. Not only was this beer very lame but also rather expensive, and sometimes I am so mad at a brewery for selling me an overpriced shitty product that I roll up my sleeves, walked up to my computer and anonymously enter a bad review on a meaningless web-site, that’s how men settle their differences nowadays.
Bottle. Aroma is citrus, orange, grapefruit, floral, unripe melon, citrus zest and some pine. Thick and oily mouthfeel from both malt and hops, body medium to medium-high. Nicely hidden alcohol though it has a warming effect on the throat. Very bitter, orange zesty finish. Because of its accented hop profile and liqueur-like mouthfeel, it could be summed up as hop syrup. Very nice hop syrup. hawanna (3364) - Freising, GERMANY - FEB 25, 2013
