Bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts strong, intense hoppy-grasy, fine dry notes, not too intense. Mild bitter background. Fine fruity notes of apricot. Finish a bit alcoholic woody, still intense hoppy-fruity. A beer to enjoy! gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 10, 2013
taken from notes - 750 ml bottle at sloshfest 2012. This was one of the surprises of the evening. Full massive beer with nice fruity hopiness. Not your typical Xmas beer! hawanna (3344) - Freising, GERMANY - FEB 12, 2013

Cloudy amber color, small head. Mild aroma of fruity hops and malt. Good malt and hop flavor, moderately sweet, with some fruity touch and quite storng bitterness, but less than it used to be.
It’s losing power, but it’s still a very enjoyable Double IPA.

Muddy dark amber color; the bottle opens without sound, and indeed the head is small, but persistent. The aroma is nice: fruity hops, some yeast, bitter orange peel, dried apricots, lightly soapy. Sweetish flavor, probably top fermentation; malty, with some sweet caramel; fruity, from the hops and from orange peels; strong bitterness. Light yeast. Rough, unprecise, but the effort is appreciated.
(75 cl bottle from Wein Kultur Bier Shop, Moabit) Pours a murky brown with little, white head, lace and sediment. Soft carbonation, oily texture, full albeit somewhat muddy body and a dry finish. Taste is mostly bitter with some sweet notes. Girlfriend says: "The first sip was very different from the following one."
