Pours a very hazy pale yellow. Looks like a Pilsner or a Landbier, but the nose dispels that with way more notes of hoppy grassiness in standards of those styles. Fair amount of body to the palate and low carbonation. Flavor is very nice and is most reminiscent of a U.S. harvest ale: grassy, herbal notes and healthy dose of bitterness. Some citrus flavors as well, but mainly bitterness and grass. This is really nice and a great single hop from a German brewer. If this was a little stronger and a little hoppier it would make a great IPA. One of the best hoppy German pale ales I’ve had.

Bottle from Bierlinie - hazy golden color, white head. taste is citrus, lemon, malty body. Good, but I like the more light and crisp APAs more...

Recht leicht, aber ordentlich fruchtig. Tolles Sommerbier, da auch fast gar nicht bitter...

Draft at castle Pub. Hazy yellow color, big fluffy white head. Aroma of mixed citrus. Taste has lightly bitter lemon and grapefruit. Easy drinking.

Pours cloudy light orange. The aroma is blood orange, grapefruit, mango. Very promising. Taste is mildly bitter with overripe citric undertones. The overripe, almost rancid character strengthed going into the second half of the bottle as the beer turned murky with increasingly visible floaters. Perhaps I caught an off bottle. It was enough to detract from but not ruin an otherwise pleasing brew. Finishes with a touch of lemon. Mixed, but okay.

0,33 l Flasche. Aroma: leicht malzig, fruchtig, frisch, Mandarine, Ananas. Erscheinung: orangebraunes, trübes Bier, schnell abbauender Schaum, kaum Gardine. Geschmack: fruchtig süß, Ananas, Grapefruit, dezent bitter. Nachgeschmack: etwas zu wenig Kohlensäure, aber vollmundig. Gesamt: Lecker, geht aber auch besser.

On tap in Hopfenreich, Berlin. Cloudy golden amber beer with a large whiite foam head. Nose is huge new world citrusy hops, grapefruit peel, lemon, pine, soft fresh citrus juices, pale cereal malts, minerals. Clean and citrusy on the palate. Taste as above. Very good pale ale.
