Golden beer, slightly hazy. Orange and apple aroma, rich fruity palate. Mild, a hint of yeast, dry finish. A little gem. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 10, 2013
33cl bottles from Bierpost. Brewed 2012, BB 12/2013 - This to me is Hopfenstopfers secret stand-out beer, unfairly categorised and judged as a pilsner, while actually brewed with 7 types of malt and homegrown German hops as a kind of bottom-fermenting South German ale. hobsch (505) - Cologne, GERMANY - AUG 2, 2013
Mouthfeel and taste are very satisfying on account of layered biscuit malts, almost chewy and rich, reminding me of the malt profile of UK Pale ales like Samuel Smith Pale Ale and even the caramalt+hopforward profile of Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA.
Very generously hopped with herbal, peppery and assertive EU hops (Saphir and Taurus?), interplaying harmoniously and providing a satisfying round taste profile in accord with the rich malt back. Unique in the German brewing landscape, maybe save Düsseldorf, and worth seeking out.
Bottle 0.33l from Edeka Mohr Bonn. Pours golden with white head and relatively high carbonation. Aroma is fruity with a good hint of hops. Taste is malt, some mandarine and a good bitterness. I really like this beer. Very good balanced and so easily drinkable. Perfect beer for this hot summer evening. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2013
33cl bottle, pick up while visiting Bierzwerg bottle shop, pours with a nearly clear deep gold body that supports a two inch tall off white head and leaving behind some sheet lacing. The modest aroma offers up some smooth soft sweet clean malts and light lime to lemon grass notes and faint earthy grassiness. The taste starts with malt sweetened lemon and lime rolling into a bit of floral hop and pilsner like malts. Very nice hop forward Pils that stays far from overly sweet and floral which fits my taste. Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2012
bottle from bierpost.com. Hazy straw coloured yellow, mid-sized white head. Very aromatic hop aroma, grassy and citrusy. Light- to medium-bodied with a solid malty base, lots and lots of aromatic hops all over the tongue: grassy, resiyn, citrusy, spicy, peppery - delicious!

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is is fruity, earthy, floral and some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is floral, grassy, earthy with mild fruitynotes and some sweet malts. Rather pleasant bitterness from the hops. Mellow and very resfreshing. jonas (7580) - Garching b. Bottle. Hazy bronze, big fluffy lace. Lemongrass, leaves and orangepeel in the aroma. Nice round and flavorfull hop profile on a chewy, light fruity sweet malt base. Lemongrass and kiwi finish. Sparkly mouthfeel. brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - MAR 4, 2012
