Still an excellent example of a Premium Australian lager. When it was first produced it was a great hit because Australians had little exposure to full flavoured and aromatic beers such as Stella Artois, Pilsneer Urquell etc. and this was a new taste experience. However since then the market in Australia has been flooded with imports and Hahn Premium has tended to disappear off the radar of the increasingly sophisticated Australian drinker.
Fruity and hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour with reasonable head. Stale flavor with poor aftertaste. Light to medium body with no carbonation. Stoogemobile (16) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2014
Actually quite like this beer even though it’s not very fashionable. Quite a sweet taste but well integrated into the overall flavour. Typical restrained saaz hop taste. Like an Australian interpretation of pilsner urquell but not as good. Muggus69 (2807) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2014

Not a bad one, has some good sweet characteristics and hop character, but nothing too special. Has quite a dreadful after taste that could put you off it for sure. Probably better off tap. jonnyguns (1108) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 29, 2014
Pretty average stuff. One of those crappy Aussie lagers that is stuck in mainstream beer drinking culture. Rob_D_UK (1366) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUL 23, 2013
This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a bitter initial flavour and a light body.

Bottle and Draught. This is just another PL without much to it. Pretty straightforward boring beer. Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 15, 2013
Orange-gold in colour with a temporary white head that left a spiderweb of lace down the glass. Coarse carbonation and plenty of it. Flavours of dryish malt and low bitterness, not a great else. Aroma is probably the star of the show where noble hop varieties predominate. Not the worst beer I’m ever likely to drink and a far cry from the best. Just. A. Bit. Average.
Try to figure it out!

Pours a pale golden color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Mild aroma of malt, some fruit and grain. Taste of mild malt sweetness, trace of fruit and grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Light body, smooth and a bit refreshing. Not a bad beer for what it is, another Euro Lager in an ocean of lager beers. theodorereg (28) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 16, 2012
Pours a nice amber colour, head doesn’t hang around too long. First taste a nice mild good hop taste pleases me. Conservative in flavour , but clean and refreshing. Hard to find this beer now in Melbourne. Other Hahn beers not as good.
