Poured from a 750 ML bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. The appearance is a clear dull gold color with a large white head. The aroma is very off-putting, it smells like old carpet. The taste is not better. My first Romanian beer, i hope my second one is better.

Bottle. Hey, it was cheap! Has that cheap lager smell to it, too. Kind of mashy and even skunky up close. The beer is clear and has a little amber to it. Less than one finger of beige head. The flavor is sweeter than expected, and more drinkable. Some grain, light European hops, and very soft bitterness. A little brown sugar. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2015
Bottle from trip to Missouri. Pours a clear golden color with thin white head. Sweet cereal grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes sweet. Just too sweet overall. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - NOV 12, 2014

Aroma - grassy, caramel, and some corn
Appearance - basic boring yellow body; clean and clear, but with some sediment afloat; head on a strong pour rises about 2" and is white, and settles into a layer of foam; there is a nice lacing.
Taste - there is an appreciable layer of caramel crackerjack, but sweeter than most, some corn, toast, and cardboard
Palate - body is light; texture ever so slightly syrupy; the carbonation is flat to average; the finish is cracker jack like sweet.

500 ml bottle. Thanks bytemesis. Looks wonderful poured into my half liter Pilsner Urquell glass. A super sweet aroma, honey and corn. Hmmm. The flavor is more super sweet malty flavor, corn, light metallic flavors, some perfume. Well, drinkable. A country tick! seymour (2076) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Poured from a tall screw-top amber glass bottle into a nonic pint glass. Odd, dirty-looking golden amber colour with thin, sudsy, short-lived foam, some chunky stuff. Gross. Corn, sweet malts. Almost no hops, but even so skunky and oxidized. Sticky, unpleasant residual sweetness. Cidery. Stale. Mushy cream-of-corn. No good, even super-cold and paired with dinner. Pretty damn disgusting. theisti (4157) - Kansas, USA - AUG 15, 2013
500 ml twist off cap bottle purchased at Lukas in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a clear yellow gold with a very frothy and noisy half inch white head. The aroma is sweet malty grain along with some apple fruit sweet not too much else. Had an unnatural chemical element. The taste starts with a the big malt sweetness that then turns very medicinal and finally finishes with the weird fruit caramel sweetness. The palate is light bodied, bordering on watery finishing with the chemical caramel green apple sweetness. As it warmed there was a fair bit of oxidation, and more of the unnatural sweetness. Pretty gross. novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 21, 2013
My Dad bought this from some European grocery store and wanted to share. It was better than I thought it would be considering I assumed it would taste like hell. It’s a bit gross and super sweet, but I’m glad I tried it because I’d never had anything from Romania before. envane (572) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2013
Hazy yellow with a white head. Boiled vegetable smell. Taste is sweet, green apple, vegetable, chemical finish.
