Bottle from a trade, shared @ HOTD tasting. Murky brown colour, no foam. No carbonation. Syrupy. Very sweet beer. Aroma of raisins, vanilla, brown sugar and lots of bourbon. A bit too much.

12oz bottle opened while decorating the tree, and of course as per tradition placed on top. Nice amber/mahogany pour with no head. A strong, somewhat buttery bourbon nose with oak, vanilla, toffee, some prune pits, sherry, raisins, candied sugars. Low carbonation and moderate+ body, boozy, fruity, becomes somewhat dry and sticky, sweet with a hint of bitterness.

Un autre liquide aux allures de spiritueux en cette fin de soire sidrante. Trs collant avec un caramel riche et des tons herbacs. Pas ce quoi je mattendais mais quand mme savoureux.

Golden brown with virtually no head. Aroma is bourbon, sherry, raisins, honey, brown sugar. Full bodied, very sticky mouthfeel, no carbonation, sweet on the palate with a lightly warming booze finish. Taste is raisins, honey, bourbon, brown sugar, Muscat, chocolate. Sweet but heavenly.

Bottle, 2012 vintage-- hey, didnt we share this at RBAG this year, cortesy of gramity? Why arent any of our ratings here? Anyway, this bottle is from Grippitis. Deep ruddy amber, minimal head. Sweet fruity toffee, bourbon, vanilla, spice, wood. Very rounded, soft, with a warming finish. Very nice.

Bottle (12 oz). Thanks to Daniel for this one! Almost clear amber with no head and a bubbly ring of foam. Taste is relatively complex, but not so much appealing with bourbon, candi sugar, alcohol, vegetal notes and berries. Taste is very similar with bourbon, vanilla, berries, vegetal notes, alcohol and medium sweetness. Medium/full body. Flat. Unpleasant vegetal aftertaste. Very disappointing considering how good the regular Fred is. That one is pretty bad...
