Iznogud (4033) - CROATIA - APR 11, 2017
On tap at ACBF2017. Pours cloudy golden with white head. Malty, grainy, some yeast, some herbal notes, spicy. Watery. Bit harsh bitterness in finish. Light to medium bodied. Strange brew, doesn’t seem like a successful experiment.

Keg @ HotD. Slightly hazy gold pour with a small white head. Nose of honeyed grain and little else. Light fruitiness, honeyed bread. Fairly sweet. Medium carb.

ACBF 2017. Thank you for sharing kraddel, tderoeck, Travlr & friends. Sampled draft. Hazy orange. Nose is metallic, soap, vegetables (squash I suppose), BE in a poor way, esters, sugar. Taste is watery, vegetable, soap, sugar, lots of esters, BE in a poor way, vegetable green,... Watery & soapy. Strange idea, sounded like a bad idea and lo behold it doesn’t work. Far below Ruth.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - MAR 4, 2017
Draught No head left but rim; hazy orange-golden beer. Toffee, fresh caramel, spices; dry nose despite the first 2 specs. Dry, again caramel-like flavour; bit of pistacchio or nougat with pistacchio. Medium bodied but very slick, low carbonation. Decent, but way less stellar than most HotD brews.
