Cloudy dark brown beer, no real head. Light semi dry palate with low carbonation. Spicy apple, sweet aniseed and boozy malt. Finishes with a fair bit of alcohol heat. Already a year old but this likely needs more time. Still a fairly unique beer! 3.5

Big sweet flavor with syrupy ripe fruits, hints of smoked meat, caramel, dates, stewed apples, wood. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Chewy.
