COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rose is named for Portland, Oregon, the Rose City. Originally called Golden Rose, this Beer started life as a straight forward Belgian Tripel and evolved into a Beer made with beets, hibiscus flowers and pink peppercorns. She has always been inspired by the Belgian style known as Tripel, which has a low level hops and is deceivingly light in body for its alcohol strength. This is achieved through the use of imported Belgian candi sugar. Not Brewed since 2005.

Taste is awful overly vegetable, flowers, spoiled, BE, body is likewise, totally not my thing it seems like Hair of the Dog is really not my thing besides the big classical strong recipes and their variations.

fiery1 (1470) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2017
Draught @ the brewery. Pours a hazy copper brown colour with a thin white head. Nose is an interesting mix... I certainly get flowery pepper, but it blends almost like another herb towards a rosemary nature. Flavour is imparting that herbal character with a sweet malty backbone with a Belgian-esque sweet influence.

3.2
Ferris (16066) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2017
Draft - Light fruity and caramel notes, cloudy copper with a decent white head, herbal and Berry sweetness with a long fruity herbal finish.
