On tap at HOTD. Colour...hazy gold with a thin head. Nose...very fruit and lithe with notes of peach, pear and apricot. Palate,..keen and bright with gobs of fruity goodness that give a big nod to the stone fruit industry. The whole of the palate is dry and tight with peach skin and pits and the finish is long and grippingz monk191 (1978) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 20, 2016
A very nice floraly Tripel. Pours a bright orange with little head. Smells of roses and honey. Taste is bright, like a barleywine, with lots of floral notes, honey, lemon. Had on tap at the brewery.

Hair of the Dog, Portland. Deep brown-red, offset rose foam. Peppery, dark fruit tea. Robust hibiscus-sweet tea on big, smooth body. Tart carb and yeast body. Sweet peppercorn. Nice variation, tasty. ippopotamo36 (2383) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 10, 2016

Tap at the brewpub.
A: Cloudy purple-red. Thin white head.
N: Hibiscus, strawberry, pink peppercorn, cracker, vinous grape, candi sugar, coriander, some pine, esters, and clove.
T: Goodly sweet, touch tart, a trace bitter.
M: Medium body, no alcohol, tickling carbonation.
O: Thrilled they brought this one back. It is one of my new favorites - easy to drink with a snappy fruitiness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, booze, fruity malt. Medium mouth, cherry, yeast, spice, light finish, very nice. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2016
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep, hazy, maroon color with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, strawberry. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, spicy, pink peppercorn, some yeast, some grass, floral notes, with a spicy, herbal finish. Very interesting take on a tripel. Glad I got to try it. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 9, 2016
Tap @ Hair of the Dog... Poured hazy, cranberry red with a thin off-white head. Vibrant mouthfeel, nice level of carbonation. Earthy, mineral-like notes with hibiscus and berry flavored. Mild sweetness and that doesn’t stick around too much. Easy going finish with some esters popping in. Heather_B (256) - New Hampshire, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Tried batch 009 on 3.29.14 with Adam and Chris. Thanks guys. Smell is just candy and some herbs. Flavor is caramel, old cardboard, and some fruit. Not bad, overall. Extra points for being so good at so old. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2014
12oz bottle Batch 20-Golden Rose (Cellar)-46° in Trappist Glass-Pours a clear ruby red with no head whatsoever. Aroma of fruits and yeast. Taste of the same with a bit of malt coming in on the back end. This medium bodied brew is not bad but would of loved to have tried it fresh.
