Batch 35. More head then a Thailand Hooker with a 20$ bill. Wow this was a lively one. Sweet spices, cobweb yeastieness, and candi sugar that all trasfers over in the flavor with the addition of a herbal bitterness and peppery alcohol. Finishes spicey with a medium alcohol burn. Slightly perfumy and wonderfull laceing
Retro. Dark orange pour. Herbal tea like nose with fruit esters and yeast prominent. Light spices. Hibiscus is nice. Good tripel overall though not a standout for HOTD. Desverger (13193) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2017

Bottle listed as Batch 32
Poured into glass with very little foam that disappeared completely after about a minute. The colour is really nice gold-copper and the smell, well, it kind of reminds me of the Sam Adams Triple Bock I had years ago.
The taste is a bit of a quagmire...a few things going on but not in a harmonious way. There's a tartness present that I don't find that appealing and the alcohol taste is definitely there. Is this really in the trippel style??
Well....I can say that I've tried it.
Orange-brown head. Aroma of hibiscus, wine and fruit. Herbal flavor of hibiscus, peppercorn, spice. thomat (4180) - Gteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2017

More of a belgian ale, but clearly american-made take on the style. Pretty good, but not their best beer by any means. Hair of the dog portland
