RBESG ’12, Bratislava. Grand Tasting at Richtar Jakub. 50cl Bottle. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of hemp, light malty, dusty. Flavour is sweet, light corny, dry, watery. Light bodied. Nothing off, not spectacular though. luttonm (6150) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 13, 2012

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2013 Bottle, RBESG 2012 grand tasting. Clear golden colour. Aroma eurolager. Taste same, annoying sugary maltiness. Low drinkability, euro finish. Marko (5593) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 15, 2012
JEDAN JE HAJDUK IZ SPLITA!

In related news, I’ve had this at a rock/metal pub in Split, one of the few places I’ve seen it so far. Apparently brewed for the entire region of Dalmatia, but the connection, despite no design links, with Hajduk Split, is unmistakeable. They have a sponsorship deal with Carlsberg Croatia so this was only to be expected. It’s probably a relabel, but hey, until I can prove it, it looks like this... a golden lager with a relatively big, thick white head that went away at a medium pace. A sourish herbal nose, typical of a macro lager. The taste, however, doesn’t go into that direction, bitterish, it carries very light notes of peach and elder, but there’s no real maltiness. Not undrinkable. Now... if only they had the brains to make a Belgian Wit (white being the colour of the club), it might’ve been something. Like this, an afterthought. And even though I’m tempted to give it a 20 overall, I’ll be pro on this and give it what it deserves...
Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn 2. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with a note of skunk, an unobtrusive one, though. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a good deal of yeast. Bitter finish with a skunky note. visionthing (5283) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 23, 2013
50cl bottle at Scout Club Irish Pub, Samobor. Pours clear deep golden with a lasting white head with fairly good retention. Mild malty and bready aroma with hints of fruits and cooked vegetables. Moderate sweet with mild malty flavour and a fairly decent bitterness. Quite okay pale lager. Boring and watery, but drinkable. (2013-05-19) ElDesmadre (3626) - Mikołów, POLAND - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle. Nice, frothy head, for a bland eurolager. I meant, disgusting eurolager. Barely discernible aroma of skunk and macromalt, yes, even some grassy elements seem to be lost in there. Watery sweetish, skunky and cardboardy flavour. Almost no hops in there but I would lie if I wrote that this beer is malty. Horrible, lacking in any substance. If I was a Hajduk supporter, I would be offended. abemorsten (3593) - Mosterřy, NORWAY - JUL 21, 2012
0,5 l green bottle from Ivana Trgovina in Split. Inch thick off-white head on a sparkling golden body. Light malts, herbs and artificial citrus esters on the nose. Medium sweet, light malts and a papery bitterness that lasts a while. Light to medium body and medium carbonation. There’s nothing here to make it stand out from any standard industrial lager, but I bet that’s not the intention either. MisoW (3547) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear golden color. Aroma is malty. Taste same, quite sweet - sugar added?
