Can. Pours somewhat hazy, nondescript pale golden. Aroma has some soft fruitiness at first then rice come out - and a bit of wet cardboard. Not terrible though. Taste has some fruitiness, lots of rice, something bitter. Simple beer with a rice addition. Normally I am not a big fan of rice beers (or koshihikari beers) but I had this one straight out from fridge and it worked wonders with my homemade gyoza meal. Maybe I was just thirsty?

Can, thanks K. Clear light golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bit sweet, bit of lemon, light graininess. Taste is bit strange, can taste the rice, bit starchy, lightly sweet, bit fruity, strawberry maybe and finish is a little bit bitter. It’s alright, and pleasantly surprised after reading KL’s rating. Bit thin maybe but perfectly drinkable.

Bottle from Kanazawa Omicho Market. Meglio l’assaggio dell’aroma sicuramente.

Bright golden color with a medium, foamy head. Malty, biscuity aroma with some citrus hops and just a bit of corn. Unfortunately this too seems to have a DMS infection, though it is no where near as bad as the last one. Rice is strong in the after taste. Clean and crisp, and though it isn’t all that interesting, would be a refreshing summer ale if not for the corn. Still drinkable, though again with this one the rice adds nothing to the beer, and probably takes away if anything.
