This Pale Ale’s elegant citrusy, leafy hopping is levelled by the fruity caramel maltiness, producing a luscious mouthfeel. Neither American, nor English, this Pale Ale has a mind of its own which you want to explore further after every sip.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A fluffy head sits atop the russet gown.
-The mouthfeel was creamier from the lagering tank, I have to say.
-Styrian Goldings in the nose is well integrated, and the Cascade bittering is pleasant and not overdone.
-The honeyed cereals develop fruity undertones which work wonders with the hoppiness.

Draught at Qbrick. Deep amber with a thin, fine head. Good amber malt flavor, dry and earthy, with lots of caramel and nice hopping. Strong hop aroma as well. Slightly too bubbly. Label, aside from the name, is all in Japanese characters, though it pictorally depicts Egyptians, pursuing the brewing art.
Bright ruby-red color, beneath a thick, bubbly, off-white head.
Aroma is rather spare, soft, fresh, but suggestive of nothing at all. Some fruit and hops kick in later on, that were not apparent at first sniff.
On first taste, I notice: small hops, but big fruit. There’s almost no hop bitterness here, all is smooth, well-rounded and resounding with fruity flavor. Warm, sweet, delicious, and malty. Hops peek in from time to time, but are never a major component. Very short and sweet finish.

Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is medium to dark amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, caramel), moderately hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough), with a note of peach.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
A solid, delightful example.

Pours a darker than expected deep rust color, with a small off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops, yeast, malts, and sweet fruit as well. I agree with the others though, while good, the aroma is very muted. Body is medium and smooth. Flavor is fresh. Sweet fruit, citrus hops, and malt. Has a weak hop bite in the end. Deep copper color with no head. The nose is somewhat muted with only faint citrusy hops coming through. Mouth has a mellow hoppy character and there is a slightly, fruity dry finish. Dark amber, murky brown colour not much head, little bit of golden bubbles. Aroma is bit spicy, brown bread, bit stinky. Taste is ok, caramel elements, quite sweet, bit of ginger, no hops as far as I can taste. Malty backbone. Not at all what I was expecting for a pale ale. Maybe more like a brown ale.
