amber colour, fine head, caramel aroma, some flowery and fruity notes, medium-bodied, well-hopped, sweet with a robust bitterness, dry malty finish - not really true to the style but very nice anyway fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 15, 2002
[Rerate] This beer has been improved a lot, becoming a real homebrewing masterpiece.
Cloudy amber colour, with a generous, wonderful head and lace. Very nice hop aroma, a bit fruity, and also a very nice malt. The mouth feeling is lower than the aroma, dry taste, in the beginning; then it improves a lot (getting warmer), with a very good malt texture, some caramel and enough residual sweetness.
