Serving: from tap at Smarty Pants.
Aroma: moderate, piney hoppy aroma.
Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, medium-amber body.
Taste: heavily bitter initial flavor, and heavily sour grapefruit-like finish with long duration.
Palate: medium-to-heavy bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: huge taste but too heavy-handed for me.
Draught at Wig Wam last night so they must be brewing it again. A very pleasant orange with a white head. Fresh, juicy citrus notes throughout. A mild toasted malt backbone carries it just enough but the player on the scene is the citrus. Finish is full of that juicy citrus and get a tad sweet. Very enjoyable DIPA. teamsale (273) - Washington, USA - FEB 9, 2017
Apparently available again. On tap, pours a clear honey color with a one finger eggshell head and good lacing. Aroma is light sweet hoppy citrus fruit. Flavor is similar, mild bitterness. A very well done brew. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 24, 2016
modest 2 finger head that dies back leaving spotty sticky lacing.. Brew is hazy orange copper.
Aroma is pithy citrus hops.. smells juicy... not much malt to speak of... some sweetness for sure but is blown out of the water by the hops.
Not as bitter as some more well known ideas... but Holy Hoppy from early to late palate.. there is plenty of sweetness... but again.. it is all the hops from front to back. Body is on the thicker side for the style... oily and viscous... somehow it remains balanced for a PNW DIPA. Headbanger (3992) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2016
22oz bottle 8/8/15 (Pear Delicatessen)-Pours an orangish amber with a decent head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew wasn’t good but wasn’t bad. zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Bomber. Pours a golden orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is bitter, with hops, citrus, grapefruit, and pine notes into the dry, bitter finish.

With Z , pours a semi clear light rusted orange Amber color with a beige head. Nose is sweet citrus with some trailing bitterness. Taste is pleasant sweet citrus with softer pine and resin. Finishes on the sweet citrus notes with a hoppy dry finish . Ok ! Quaff Score 6 / 10 fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 19, 2015

Hazy amber color, medium sized head. A good American Barley Wine, as it’s well malty, noticeable from the moment you pour; sweet, rich, with nice hopping, lowering bitterness, but still good fruits and hop resins.
Very good, but probably not fresh.
Bottle - Sweet earthy hops and caramel. Dirty gold with a decent off white head. Sweet caramel and bitter hops with a long sweet bitter finish. Not bad. ACHops (1566) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 23, 2014
22 oz bottle @ Hale’s. Pours cloudy dark orange with thin white head. Aroma is thin sugary sweet malt and muted citrus hops. Taste is similar: thin malt is quickly overwhelmed by heavy sugary sweetness which pushes through the hops on the finish. Some nice big flavors in the hops - pine, orange, and grass - but again they’re really obscured by the lingering sweetness of the malt. Not that bad, really, but... odd beer.
