Rating #2008- 2015.09.27 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 4, Beer 110 - Draught at Taproom 9.2% Mildly hazy, golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is yeast, coriander, and cloves. Taste is mildly sweet, herbal. Full bodied, this packs an albeit well disguised punch. Finish is quite smooth. Delicious. opaque orange, with 2cm of fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, with apple esters, and a hint of spice. Taste has that, plus unexpected fruit and grass notes, with tropical notes into the finish. $5/22oz andrewje41 (4171) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - APR 9, 2015
Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange color with a thin head. Sweet sugary candy and fruit aroma. Some banana as well in the aroma and flavor. Smooth flavor and slightly creamy body to it. Candy sweet flavor in the finish. Tasty. I like it. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 16, 2015
[3/3/15] Draught at Hales Ales Brewery & Pub in Seattle. Clear yellow. Aroma of fruity esters, some spiciness, and some floral and slightly fruity hops. sweet flavor with fruity esters, mild spiciness, and light hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015
On tap at Hale’s, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals notes of Belgian yeast, candied sugar, a touch of acetone, and booze. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar and Belgian yeast upfront, followed by slight acetic tones that aren’t too damaging but still noticeable to be detracting. Okay, but not my thing.

Draft - Sweet stone fruit and light grains. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Sweet stone fruit, yeasty sweetness and esters. Too sweet and fruity, not my thing. beastiefan2k (4073) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Sampler at the brewpub. Color is dark gold. Well controlled bubblegum/banana esters, baked fruits nose with sweet Belgian candy but light-moderate for the style. Flavor takes on a team element with Belgian crust and a small hint of herbal hops at the end. Relatively well cleaned out. Light finish, avoids many pitfalls for style. Sweeter but not boozy. Long herbal green, sweet candy finish. I am surprised I liked this a lot more than the other (few) raters. The difference may be because its on draft. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Bottl. Pours a copper color with white head. Spicy, yeasty, malty flavors. Nothing special. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle @ Jon’s place on the 4th. Pours a pretty clear golden orange appearance with a nice, lasting cream colored head. A little musty and cobweby nose with banana bread and herbal notes. Apple, pineapple, chewy bread flavor. A bit of tanginess. Not that sweet but the flavor is a little strange. Actually a bit of butter too. robforbes (2263) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 26, 2013
