Anice malty English pale ale. A week American pale ale. Light bitter. lasting head. tropical notes on the nose. Very nice mouthfeel for the ABV. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Tap. Pours a clear orangish copper body with a small foamy off-white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is piney and citrusy hops with some caramel malt, but it’s not overly sweet smelling. The flavor is lightly bitter with some floral and tropical hops. Fairly light bodied, but not in a bad way. Some lingering passionfruit on the back end. Really pretty nice and refreshing. Just the right amount of hops to keep the sweetness in check. Nice sessionable Pale Ale. jrodooo5 (1703) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Pretty golden pour w/ a white foamy head & solid lacing. The aroma has some light citrus & piney notes. The taste is slightly bitter & a tad watery. Not a big flavor burst but it is drinkable & overall an average beer. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 9, 2015
A zippy little pale, very peppery. It’s a touch thin. I find it a bit one dimensional in both Hoo and malt character Wombata (625) - Kobe, JAPAN - AUG 8, 2015
Can bought at the Yakima Beer Shoppe.
Aroma: Fragrant. Floral, mikan, ruby grapefruit, passion fruit.
Palate: Quite smooth, medium bodied; filling but without heaviness.
Flavor: Ruby grapefruit, some passion fruit, apricot, grassy hop on the finish.
Comment: Wow! I haven’t had this for years, but I now I really appreciate how well-made it is. Reasonably priced to boot. This calls for a road trip to the brewery.
