Bottle, Downtown Spirits. Dark thick black colour, off white head. I suppose this was a fairly standard imperial stout, lots of thick roasty flavours, not overly hoppy on this occasion. Felt rounded more than aggressively bitter or boozy. Good, just somehow missing the extra bit of excitement. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - FEB 6, 2016
Bottle thanks to duchammer: The label we drank had a double decker bus on it. The name gives it some bonus appeal. Poured a dark brown with red edges and tan head. Aroma and taste is roasted malt, but falls a bit flat. beastiefan2k (4007) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - SEP 25, 2015
200th rater! I actually don’t know when this was brewed cause I don’t see any info on annual release. Whatevs. Black beer with ghost white lacing. Aroma is dry, ashy malt that’s acidic. Flavor is a bit flabby and light... And weak stout. I’m actually surprised this is an Impy Stout. Just a bit too acidic and weak. slowrunner77 (12144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
"A spot purchase in Seattle that I might have avoided if I’d looked it up. I was encouraged that so many of the off reviews are years old, and at first this had a nice sweet milk chocolate roasted coffee aroma, and looks great. Lower abv so a less thick body was expected. The giant white chunks were a turnoff though, as was the lactic quality that did not belong, and only grew as the beer warmed. It’s not a milk stout and wouldn’t have been a great example if that style either. A beer that could have been quite good but it seems this one has a long history of quality control issues. Still has its good points, but way under average for the style."

Black color with small beige head. Nice mild aroma, roasted malt, fire oven bread. It has smooth mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor and some coffee, but not ashy luckily, with some lactose; correct bitterness.
Not exciting, but solid.
Bottle - Roast malts and chocolate with some dark fruit. Jet black with a rich beige head. Chocolate and dried dark fruits. A long finish with a big bitterness. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 7, 2013
Bottle share taster. Dark brown, no cap. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, raisin, and booze. Taste is sour. Not bad. JFParnell (70) - Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2013
UPDATED: APR 6, 2014 This Russian Imperial is the best value that there is. At $4.79 for a 22 Oz. I defy anyone to find a better deal. This is a very good imperial russian stout. The price is right, and it is overall a very good tasting stout. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours a near black color with a small tan head on it. Nose is a little roasty with some nice chocolate coming through, though subtly. Taste is chocolatey and slightly sweet with just a little roasting in there. Good brew and really glad I found it. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 5, 2012
On tap at Last Drop.
Pours black with two finger head. Smell ashy chocolate roast. Taste more creamy and fruity, ashy finish. Decent.
