Unanimous choice for a drainpour by five tasters at the brewpub in Seattle. Seemed to be flavored by added syrup. Not a nice beer. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014

Hazy amber color. Dry mouthfeel, with almost no aroma, traces of caramel flavor, fairly bitter and a bit metallic.
This is really the darker sister of their Pale Ale.
On tap at Hale’s, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle bready malts with a subtle hop component - pretty bland and lifeless though. Flavour is about the same, bringing out bready caramel malts balanced with fruity hops. Not a whole lot to this, but it’s balanced decently enough. Okay, but not my thing. Draft - Light caramel and pale malts. Clear copper with a decent white head. Light toast malts and caramel with a touch of bitterness. Average. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2008
Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Medium roasted caramel aroma backed by citrus hop - both aromas are substantial. Near mahogany color with a beige head that sort of hung in. Near medium body with mild, creamy carbonation. Fair balance between sweet malt and hop. Lots of hop for an amber. Finishes dryish, and the bitter builds along. Good drink. Bottle poured a hazy deep reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, grapefruit rind, earthiness and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of grapefruit, earthiness, light carmel and a bit of toffee with a lingering bitter finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 26, 2005
(22oz bottle) Big beige head atop a cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, some caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, floral, lemon, some caramel, light herbal. Light-medium, clean body. The lemon does not work for me.
