12 oz can from Uptown Market in Beaverton, OR. Hazy liquid with a rocky, short-lived head. Lots of floral hops and some sweet malt in the nose. Very pleasantly bitter mouthfeel. Fantastic balance between hop and malt flavors. Reminds me of a dusty and dank attic. Another near-perfect beer!

For some reason I wrote this down as Spruce Goose Double IPA but this is the right name I guess. Fantastic super-hoppy IPA aroma. This is great, lots of bitter hops, but a hop-from-the-vine finish. Quite tasty.

Fairly dry. Not sweet. Nice hippy flavor. Very pleasant aftertastes. Strong hop flavor, but not strong aroma.

Super tasty beer. Nothing special to look at. Good aroma. Great body. Drink the living the bejezus out of it.

Supergoose pours with more head than I’ve come to expect from a 7.1% IPA, perhaps because of the higher malt content. Though that’s usually a turnoff to me, it balances out the plethora of hops pumped into this can of Heaven. From a smooth entry, you immediately get hit when a whollop of Bitter Hop that almost immediately gets calmed by the malt. Finishing neutral, you’re left demanding another sip to see if you can count the flavors as they flow over your taste buds. Excellent, albeit non-classical IPA.

A special friend brought this to me! A huge thanks! Pours an amber color with orange tinges. A wonderful fluffy head. Aroma has great citrus, light honeyed malt, stone fruit, caramel. Flavor is bitter up front with lots of citrus notes, caramel malt, fruity notes and its just juicy as hell! Delicious!!

leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 7, 2010
Slightly hazy orange, fluffy white head with a lot of lacing. Lime aroma, lime orange and pine flavor. Just enough malt to make it okay. Finishes lime and a little alcohol.
