Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry hoppy, dark malts, hops, burnt caramel, pine needles, hay, grass, leafs, rubber, coffee, chocolate. Taste is slightly dry and burnt, dark malts, burnt caramel, ashtray, hay, hops, paper, leafs, grass, bark, soil, rubber. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea, more like a black IPA I’d say...
Pours a jet black color and has a tremendous chocolate aroma. Tastes like dark chocolate and burnt coffee. There is a nice rye bitterness that finishes this beer nicely. This is awesome!

Bottled. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, rye, licorice and hoppy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and quite bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Stout. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 AirForceHops (7800) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 4, 2016
650 ml bottle I received in a Untappd trade. No bottling date. Thin white head on top this dark brown- borderline black liquid. Aroma is chocolate grain and roast forward with mild caramel candy. Chalumeaux (1704) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Base of this stout has a solid pine hop backbone that gives a very nice balance to the roasted malt and chocolate flavors. Texture is dry with a mild pine kick. Body is nice, fuller with a borderline creamy mouthfeel. This is nicely constructed, well made.
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops nearly black with a nice tan head. Aromas of chocolate rye roasted malt and earthy tones. Taste is nice molasses chocolate and nice balanced hop finish.

Bomber shared by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, toffee, coffee grounds. Flavor is molases, chocolate, pine bitterness to balance. juiceisloose (1543) - Windermere, Florida, USA - AUG 9, 2015
22 oz bottle. Pours a dark chocolate brown that is nearly black and topped by a small layer of khaki colored foam that quickly recedes and leaves patches of lace on the glass. The aroma shows notes of dark roasted malts, coffee, baker’s chocolate, and spicy rye with some earthy hop bitterness in the back ground. The flavor follows with more dark baker’s chocolate and dry roasted coffee up front followed by the spicy rye and a nice earthy hop bitterness in the back. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation that leads to a dry, spicy rye finish. Nothing crazy, but a tasty and solid rye stout. Nuffield (4199) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Very successful beer that is easy to enjoy. Rich chocolate with a twang that says rye. The palate is good but not over the top. Enjoyable. On tap in Chicago. miyauchi38 (1117) - chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 17, 2015

UPDATED: APR 7, 2015 On tap, poured into a shaker. The beer is a dark, almost opaque, brown-black topped by a soft, creamy, light brown head that has abundant retention and lacing. The aroma is a strong burnt toast and rye bread (burnt rye bread?) note with a light chocolate undertone. It’s a medium / medium-high bitter with a supporting, medium-light sweetness. The texture is somewhere between oily and syrupy with a soft, creamy carbonation. The body is full of roasted rye and dark chocolate notes that linger through the finish and leaves a spicy rye aftertaste (much rye!).
