Pours dark brown/black with a medium creamy mocha head...nice lacing. Aroma has roasty dark fruit and a bit of a metallic note. Flavor has dark fruit and roastiness...touch of coffee...a bit of oxidation...some burnt molasses notes. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with a burnt/dark fruit finish.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2016 Draft at Bru Craft. Opaque black pour with soft camel foam that left slipping lace. Unexpected sweet shiny sugar candy taste up front. Beneath it are some inexact notes of coffee, chocolate and vanilla bean. Burnt marshmallows. Hints of blackberries and peat. 10% ABV is well hidden. Finishes smooth enough. Not your normal Stout. On tap. Pours a pitch black with a thick, brown, long lasting head. Aroma is really sweet. Lots of hard candy, chocolate, milk chocolate, roast, marshmallows or lactose. Taste is super sugary sweet. Reminds me of the m&m's dragee surface. Light bitter roast, but just very sweet. Average carb and a full body
