22oz bomber from halfacre brewpub pours a bright orange with a white head, citrus and bitter pine taste raoul_duke (270) - - MAY 23, 2015
16 Oz bottle from the brewery. Love those guys, thanks for the tastes. Highly carbonated. Big white foamy head. Beautiful hay color with some gold overtones. Very clean pine on the nose, no sweetness or malt to speak of. Really nice flavor here. Grape wine with pineapple and melon. Nice differentiation from flavor and aroma. Not quite as much bite as I expected / wanted. But it’s a lower abv, so there’s that. Overall, excellent. Highly recommended. rxeight (3243) - Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2015
Bomber, purchased from from brewery yesterday.
Citrus pine. Slight hops, slight bitter. Malt backbone. Tastes really good although the flavors are subtitle. This would be kick ass in a 4 pack of cans. Not a huge fan of this stuff in a bomber. Christpuncher (3251) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2015
Piney and soapy notes start this beer followed by a hoppy bitter finish. Light malt backbone. Smells malty. Slight citrus notes. Had out of a bomber at home

Bottle shared at Tampa tasting poured a golden orange color with aromas of hops, light citrus and some grain. Flavors follow suit, a decent IPA overall.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a medium sized white head. Aromas are of hops, but not your usual citrus. There is some dill, lemony, citrusy (maybe some sorachi ace was used?). Some grainy notes. Flavors are lemony, grassy and citrusy. Almost a touch minty. Mostly hops, light alcohol, low malt. Medium bodied. Dfonorow (2274) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2013
On tap. Pour is hazy pale orange with a small white head that fades almost instantly. Aroma is of citrus, orange peel, dank, mild sweetness. Flavor is much like the aroma but more well balanced, slight hop and fruit finish. Odd dank, cheese notes throughout. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2013
22. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with a loose and sudsy white head. Lots of eggy lace. Bright oily orange and mango nose, lots of pineapple and grapefruit too. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty caramel and plenty of bright oily hops on the mid-palate--showing oranges, pineapple, and grapefruit. Fairly clean and brief finish. timc100 (320) - Park Ridge, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Great offering from half acre - fresh bottle from brewery.
A: Gorgeous opaque bright orange/yellow - like grapefruit juice. Nice foamy white head, does not quite coat the glass entirely.
S: Really nice - very interesting blend of tropical hop nuances. Big sweet orange, mango and grapefruit, some pineapple astringency. Some malty breadiness. Not very powerful, but really nice.
T: Considering the tropical sweet aromatics it is surprisingly bitter, in a great way. Less complex than the nose - bitter grapefruit, orange zest, slight pine and resin.
P: Smooth, medium body.
O: Really surprised - one of the more interesting single IPA’s I’ve had. There isn’t any in there, but I sense galaxy hops, which is always a good thing. dwm1034 (785) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Shared bomber with sherm1016....thanks! Pours a cloudy light orange / amber with nice head and lacing. Nose is a variety of fruit / hops. Nice citris after taste...enjoyable.
