On tap at Timothy OTooles in Gurnee. Big chocolate malts, leaning to the sweet side - although the bitterness fought through at times. Solid and tasty. 14

Feb 2016 batch. Thin black pour. Very light. Milk stout lacto. Unsweetened chocolate chips. Light stout / Porter roast. Bitter chocolate finish. Flavors are all very light, about what you would expect from 6%. Body is pretty light. Skim milk creaminess.

Tap; Dark brown color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, cocoa, & chocolate; Flavor of slight sweet malt, milk chocolate, caramel, and some coffee notes; The nitro draft was on the thin side - but not bad overall.

Draft. Dark brown pour. I think most people would expect a blast of sweetness, it is weet like chcolate milk but never gets over the top sweet. Very tasty stout.

Well done stout. Nice and roasty with a good bit of coffee and chocolate character without any harsh ashy notes. Dry and very smooth and full bodied with creamy carbonation. I could drink this all day.

22 bomber from the brewery. Smells amazing, malty chocolate with bread. Looks really thick, black with some brown on the edges. Nice foamy fluffy head. Really nice sweet chocolate flavor without being overwhelming. I really like this, exceptional offering.

On tap, poured into an imperial pint glass. The aroma is immidiately a warm cookie and cacao, which then turns to chocolate malt (strong lactose presence) and a roasted grain late. It pours a dark, nearly opaque, brown black with a tan, soft foam and soap head that leaves moderate micro-bubble lace, and reduces to messy soapy medium thin ring, before disappearing from the surface altogether. The taste is a medium / medium-high sweet with a medium bitterness supporting it. Its oily and smooth, turning sticky with warmth, and thin. A zippy carbonation aides the drink in going down easy. A medium body starts with notes of licorice that fade as chocolate malt takes over. There a light roasted and burnt quality near the end with some citrus appearing at the finish. Its a bit gritty and grainy, with hints of rye late that lightly linger.
