Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of milk sugar, cocoa, sweet chocolate and light coffee. Mild roast. Medium body. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Bottle shared by beerpig317. Poured black color with medium brown frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy roasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration to long duration. My expectations where exceeded with a good stout. Lubiere (13780) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2012
A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, a smooth bitter chocolate, with beany, light boiled veggies. In mouth, a sweet chocolate, silky smooth, coffee beans, very nice. On tap at Fountainhead, May 21 2011. Drake (13639) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Bottle shared at a tasting, 3/30/15. Clear dark brown, thin fizzy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, roasted malt, dark fruits, cocoa. The taste is dark chocolate, dark fruits, cocoa. Thin-medium bodied, lingering tartness. crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2015
Draft. Dark brown pour. I think most people would expect a blast of sweetness, it is weet like chcolate milk but never gets over the top sweet. Very tasty stout.

Growler… Pours pitch black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. The aroma is a carbonaceous, sweet marriage of coal and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is a ribbon of sweet, creamy milk chocolate and bittersweet dark chocolate. Finishes with candied nuts, chocolate and light smoke. Kudos to pantanap for shipping the growler my way! alexsdad06 (10268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2013
22oz bottle shared by beerpig317. Pours dark brown to black with a small light beige head. The aroma is heavily roasted, dark chocolate, with mild coffee notes. The flavor presents much more as a dry stout; big roasted malts to the point of being ashy, chocolate is more dark in nature rather than creamy milk chocolate and there is some coffee to the finish. Drying finish. Decent, but could use more sweetness. b3shine (8795) - Indiana, USA - APR 25, 2013
Bomber to snifter (thanks Beerpig317). Looks good; black with beige lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and chocolate with some roast too. Tastes like it smells with More roast and an an average mouthfeel. Not bad. SudsMcDuff (8383) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 24, 2013
