A west coast Pale Ale chock-full of dank, aromatic hops. This one’s a screamer, horde it.

Available all year long. 5.2% ABV.

A version of Daisy Cutter called Classic was bottled and conditioned with Champagne Yeast. Ratings for that beer also are placed here.

Thx for the can Rian, i’ll make up for it , you know ;-)

Head: pretty large/foamy, away quite fast
Colour: orange/clear amber
Smell: lots of bitter hops, earthy
Taste: start is pretty darn bitter with earthy and almunds notes, some grass, carrots, malts, dry semi-sweet end, a little oily textured, nice !

16 ounce can. Tawny gold color. Small frothy beige head. Fragrant citrus hop nose. Toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of biscuit, grain and dank citrus hops. Finish is dry and crisp. This is a well crafted pale ale that drinks smooth, but offers a lot of rich flavor. Perfectly balanced and immenently quaffable.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is bright and juicy. Orange and tangerine with s bit of zestiness. Some assertive bitterness and a bit of grassiness. Solid, straight up IPA Great.

I am still trying to educate myself on hoppy beers. When I bought this one, the merchant said it was really popular. I opened the one pint can and it poured a frothy dark colored beer. I could smell the hops I could smell the hops right away and there were some hints that I couldn’t name. It was heavy chewy and worth the poor. It finished well and I would buy it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I'd heard good things about this one, but never see it around, so pounced on it when I caught it recently in NYC. It is a very solid pale ale. It pours a nice orange clear dehydrated pee look with a thin head and some serious sweat sock stank dank in the nose. The taste is well rounded pine and orange peel with some light brusque hops. It is very pleasant and easy drinking. I quite enjoyed it even though it is a tad basic. Good for a wrap up Riverdale mini marathon to cap a long lovely holiday weekend with your boo boo.

Pint can - pours a semi cloudy golden orange color with a thick soapy off white head. Really nice aroma of citrus, floral, grassy and bready notes. Somewhat of a thin mouthfeel. Solid citrus flavor upfront along with lesser tones of straw, grass, vanilla, breadfruit and a pithy bitter finish.

Can (Sep 7, 2017 canning). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, apricot), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with light notes of plastic and taffy. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I greatly prefer Tuna, which is brighter and cleaner; this is kind of rough and raw and clunky, comparably. Drinkable but nothing more.

Aroma: lots of hops with a little fruit; Taste: seems more IPA-like, but nice balance of the hops with strong malt backbone; Palate: medium body with medium finish; Overall: very enjoyable; would definitely get again if available.

A lot of refined finesse. Pours effervescent yellow-gold; substantial and sustained frothy white head. Aroma of resin and tropical fruit. Taste mirrors the aroma with the addition of light biscuit/malt notes. Subtle body, nice balance. The subtle nuances (not words usually associated with beer drinking) make this interesting and enjoyable.
