A fine way to start the NYE spirit. Great hops aroma with a clean, crisp finish to the taste. The hophead in me says that this is the way to start the party. One of the best from my friends at Half Acre. 16 oz can served in a room temperature glass. Enjoy

Pint can - pours a semi cloudy golden orange color with a thick soapy off white head. Really nice aroma of citrus, floral, grassy and bready notes. Somewhat of a thin mouthfeel. Solid citrus flavor upfront along with lesser tones of straw, grass, vanilla, breadfruit and a pithy bitter finish.

Can (Sep 7, 2017 canning). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, apricot), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with light notes of plastic and taffy. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I greatly prefer Tuna, which is brighter and cleaner; this is kind of rough and raw and clunky, comparably. Drinkable but nothing more.

Aroma: lots of hops with a little fruit; Taste: seems more IPA-like, but nice balance of the hops with strong malt backbone; Palate: medium body with medium finish; Overall: very enjoyable; would definitely get again if available.

A lot of refined finesse. Pours effervescent yellow-gold; substantial and sustained frothy white head. Aroma of resin and tropical fruit. Taste mirrors the aroma with the addition of light biscuit/malt notes. Subtle body, nice balance. The subtle nuances (not words usually associated with beer drinking) make this interesting and enjoyable.

Can. Clear pale copper with lasting head and lace. Spice woody citrus aroma. Medium sweet cereal toffee biscuit with medium spicy woody bitterness. Medium light body lively carbo to accentuate hops. A great classic pale ale.

Keg at Spritzenhaus 33, Brooklyn. Lovely clear, bright gold with champagne carbonation. Bitter citrus. Perfect for enjoying in the sun.

16floz can, HMT (Heavy Metal Thunder) date 07.06.2017 (so is this BBD or COD?), single price $2.50 (can be had as a four-pack for $9-10 as I paid this amount once before). Appears yellow gold with clarity, and on a vigorous pour into a mug glass a two finger head forms with large sized bubbles. Nose consists of citrus, lemon, and mild herbs. The palate seems hollow, and just as I remember the flavor is a composition of grapefruit spritzed Wonderbread. Sure it's drinkable, but it's also not all that great. A pass.

Piana opada do cienkiego krążka, lekko zdobiąc szkło. W aromacie grejpfruty, cytrusy, nutka nafty. Aromat może nie jakiś buchający, ale przyjemny. W smaku dość słodkie, takie landrynkowo - owocowe. Przyjemna, grejpfrutowa gotyczka. Krótka, po niej pozostaje jeszcze lekko słodki posmak. Dziwne piwo, skomponowane jak niektóre polskie DIPA:P Okej się pije.

Tap at Dive 75, W 75th St, New York. Pours slightly hazy gold to amber with a decent sized frothy/creamy whit to off-white head. Aroma is well hopped, with lots of tropical fruit and light citrus fruit, light caramel, flowers and a touch of vanilla. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Towards medium bodied, slightly oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. A very enjoyable APA.
