Pours a hazy amber with a medium frothy white head that almost makes it to the end of the glass with good lacing. Medium grapefruity citrus hop aroma, light malt and very clean yeast. Medium bitter flavor with a slight malty sweetness, finishes dry although it lingers a bit. Medium body with a slick texture and normal carbonation. Very pleasant find!

16floz can, HMT (Heavy Metal Thunder) date 07.06.2017 (so is this BBD or COD?), single price $2.50 (can be had as a four-pack for $9-10 as I paid this amount once before). Appears yellow gold with clarity, and on a vigorous pour into a mug glass a two finger head forms with large sized bubbles. Nose consists of citrus, lemon, and mild herbs. The palate seems hollow, and just as I remember the flavor is a composition of grapefruit spritzed Wonderbread. Sure it's drinkable, but it's also not all that great. A pass.

Piana opada do cienkiego krążka, lekko zdobiąc szkło. W aromacie grejpfruty, cytrusy, nutka nafty. Aromat może nie jakiś buchający, ale przyjemny. W smaku dość słodkie, takie landrynkowo - owocowe. Przyjemna, grejpfrutowa gotyczka. Krótka, po niej pozostaje jeszcze lekko słodki posmak. Dziwne piwo, skomponowane jak niektóre polskie DIPA:P Okej się pije.

Tap at Dive 75, W 75th St, New York. Pours slightly hazy gold to amber with a decent sized frothy/creamy whit to off-white head. Aroma is well hopped, with lots of tropical fruit and light citrus fruit, light caramel, flowers and a touch of vanilla. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Towards medium bodied, slightly oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. A very enjoyable APA.

Jake Melnick's Corner Tap, Chicago, IL, draft. Tastes and smells a little skunky or gasoliney or is that pine. Smells good. Looks light. Lotsa lacing. Crisp. Session. Pretty good, not life-changing.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2017 Draft poured from Portillo's in Chicago. Right after pour, I thought this was an IPA. Very hoppy! After it sat, that has mellowed out and is now very light and easy to drink.

30.04.2014, tap @ Mikkeller Bar:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is leafs, forest floor, rubber, pine needles, lawn, hops, soil, bark, grain. Taste is kind of strange mineraly, leafs, pine needles, soil, light malts, grain, paper, lawn, moss, citrus peel, hops. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

A nice Hoppy beer that seems to be confused between a Pale Ale & IPA. A nice hoppiness with confused palet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Average beer, slight unpleasant after taste. Color and carbonation were fine. Would not purchase again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Punch-in-the-nose bitterness for an APA, but I won’t complain too much because this has a big body, resinous aroma, and waves of bitiness that make it a great partner to cheeseburgers on the grill. "Stand up and fight!" I say to beers such as this. And they do.

The place we had it was dank but the beer was not to me. All in all a nice pale ale but tastes like Miller when I had it for a little longer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
