COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Daisy Cutter is a monster version of the original Daisy Cutter Pale Ale. A heftier grain bill amps up the weight and double dry hopping insures there’s enough hops to recede your gums.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 Draft at Khyber Pass. Poured a slightly hazy orange gold in a dark bar. Slight off-white foam on top with a few splashes of disappearing lace. Blonde malts underlying, but definitely hop forward. Sharp clean citrus resin flavors. Notes of blood oranges, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, cactus fruit, aloe, pinecones, autumn leaves, mango skin, parsley, shortbread and Tabasco sauce. Spicy dry finish.

10 oz at the Map Room. Pours a clear orange with a big white head. Massive hop nose on this one. Heavy papaya and tangerine come out. Remarkably juicy and not dank. Not a lot of bitterness in the flavor considering the style, and with reasonable caramel balance. This is pretty new school but they let the crystal malt be known. It finishes dry with a medium body. Ultra juicy flavor the more I drink this one. It could be even better with a little more bite. Stellar modern IIPA.

The beer pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma has tropical fruit, heavy pineapple and rich malt. It has a medium/full body with some mild sharp carbonation. The taste starts with sweet caramel syrupy malt, funky hops, tropical fruits and light citrus. The finish is pretty sweet and more funk. Decent.
