My kind of IPA. Complex and piney hops. Great look and aroma. On tap at The Gage in Chicago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Clearish dishwater yellow gold. Resiny, grassy, dank and weedy aromas. Cat urine, weedy, grassy, and dank hops that dominate. Medium body with vibrant carbonation. Hop bomb for sure, but kinda missing ’something’.

Pours a very hazy, dark golden orange color with bright tangerine edges and a two finger white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting cap. Excellent retention, taking a while to settle and coating the glass with streaks of soapy lacing. Dank sticky icky aroma with juicy buds, earthy resins, fresh cut grass, pine needle and spruce tip. The is followed by subtle summit onion character and a decent amount of tropical/citrus fruit sweetness. Light malt backbone with caramel sweetness, bread, biscuit and grainy graham cracker. Full body with a blast of dry, earthy hop bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes and malt backbone into a dry finish. Dank, earthy and resinous with sticky pine sap and spruce tip. Again, there’s a funky summit/onion presence but it’s subtle enough to provide balance without hindering the dank sticky hop bitterness. These elements are countered by a decent amount of citrus/tropical fruit and a sweet malt backbone. Lots of grapefruit and melon along with pineapple, orange slice and lemon pith. Some caramel sweetness but again, provides balance without interfering with the complex hop profile. Pale malts with bread, biscuit and grainy graham cracker. Overall, just an awesome hoppy beer that is complex while remaining extremely flavorful and dangerously drinkable. Love it!

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering a!ber head. Aromas of straw, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light lemon zest. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry moderately bitter finish.

The aroma hits you in the sweet spot of your nostrilities, with big ole notes of apricot and hop funk sweetness. The taste is of a sensuous hop lover reminding you of why you fell in love with beer in the first place. Had it in tap at Owen & Engine.

Bomber from HankDaStank. Poured a cloudy orange-amber with a foamy off white head. Tropical fruit sweetness combined with yellow grapefruit and bitter rind blended on top of dry toast and caramel malts. Fuller body with loads of harsh hop bitterness on the swallow. Solid but not for anybody who doesnt love hops.

Lightly cloudy golden, light white head. Bright pine, citrus, light tropical fruit sweetness. Significantly bitter, fairly low amount of sweetness, and malt backbone. Pretty long finish, fairly light clean body. A bit of carbonation. Pretty good.
