COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
GoneAway is a western charged firecracker. We conjured the classics and then laid them on a bed of pale malt. This India Pale Ale shoots straight to the bitter edge before falling into a mellow haze. Deep gold and ready to travel into the distance.

Admin Note - This beer was previously known as "Heyoka" and "Senita" but has been changed by the brewery to this current name. All ratings will be housed under this listing.

johnnnniee (4459) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 14, 2018
Can from Downtown wine and spirits Hazy light golden color with a decent bubbly white head that slowly dissipates and leaves some stickies on the way down. Lots of citrus pine and resin with bits of mineral water and some faint bready malt. Decent beer, but not smooth in any way light aspirin bitterness.

Itzjerm (3239) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - FEB 9, 2018
Nicefrothy lasting head. Soft hop on nose and on the tongue. Fruity. But missing a lot of flavor that I would hope for. Almost more boozy than good flavors. Meh. Not a huge fan. Solid but much better options in Chicago.

gripweed57 (3052) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2017
16 ounce can. Medium gold pour is topped by a large creamy white cap with lustrous lacing. Fragrant, bright citrus bouquet reminiscent of tangerine and peach. Soft fruity, caramel malt palate. Notes of orange, lemon and pineapple. Lots of citrus, lots of juice, lots of flavor. Fine she's with a hint of bitter grapefruit and pine. A well done mid-western IPA.

1pintatatime (179) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 17, 2017
Poured from a tall boy can. Great golden color with a creamy white head. Big aroma of pine and resin. Nice dank undertones. Taste starts bitter and stays that way. Underneath is a solid caramel malt backbone. Good mouth feel throughout followed by a nice, long finish. Very good.

3.9
glennmastrange (2949) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 Can. Moderate roasted and cereal for the malt, moderate to heavy turpentine for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with solvent and bandaid in the background. Head is large, frothy, slightly off-white, with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then the long finish is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick, with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. A powerful IPA with a strong hop punch.

Bronzed body, ok head. This one delivers and acerbic dose of grapefruit-forward hops to the nose. Bitter grapefruit body, and finish, but rather one dimensional. A bit thin on the finish.
