Not a bad stout from half acre. I like this one better than big hugs from half acre. It is a little less coffee tasting

22 ounce shared bottle. Pours black with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and caramel. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, caramel, and a hint of coffee. Nice. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Tap @ Half Acre: Dense, black. Semi-foamy & lightly creamy khaki head sits on top. Kind of chunky, not much lacing left on the glass, though. Roasted barley & toasted oatmeal aroma, chocolate malt with a touch of ashy char, cacao nibs, & coffee ground. Just a faint hint of creamy sweetness buried beneath, but this is a roasty beast. Flavor is actually a bit sweeter. Dark chocolate, mild anise, mild cream. Still has a nice bitter bite from heavily roasted malts & charred barley, but some toasted caramel, milky chocolate, & faint brown sugar notes clean things up a bit. Roasty finish. Not overly sweet, not dry, either. Solid. Pailhead (6541) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 14, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists moderate-heavy chocolate, caramel, roasted nuts, faint vanilla, and faint grape. It’s a dark brown with a small beige head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate chocolate, lighter caramel, and a hint of vanilla. The finish has roasted nuts, light fruit, and a hint of alcohol. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. Niko100 (2942) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 26, 2014

A clear dark brown stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, smooth chocolate with nice grassy hops. In mouth, good nutty caramel malt with smooth chocolate malt, coffee, very nice.

Bomber from the brewery, rating from notes. Pours a rich black with a nice tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, some cocoa, touches of nuts and molasses. Flavor is dry and quite english in nature. Earthy, nice rich chocolate and cocoa notes. Touches of baker’s chocolate, some nuts. Smooth mouthfeel, silky texture. Finishes roasty. Pretty nice. Bottle. The pour is dark with a little head around the rim. The aroma is all malt, smells yummy. The taste is also a big malt bomb. Thin, but not disappointedly thin. A nice drinking stout that I could drink all day. alexsdad06 (10485) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2013
22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, earthy notes, char, a subtle char and wood. Pretty straight forward stout with some decent finishing touches. Tmoney99 (14622) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle. Poured black color with an average brown frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet toasted flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good complex stout. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle. Chore to drink. Salty, very dry, like a crappy imperial guiness to me.
