On draft at Belgian Fest. Fresh clean some herbal hops in the aroma. Clean simple flavors. Bitter crisp. Nothing too special but really drinkable. 7/4/7/4/15 drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 26, 2013

Draft at Belgian Fest. Pours a hazed golden color with a frothy white head that sticks to the bottom of the glass. Nose is lightly fruity and peppery. Some residual honey-like sweetness and graininess in the nose. Light citrus, both from hops and yeast. Clean. On tasting, nice base. Light Belgian beer here, subtle grain notes. Faint tartness and some yeast derived sweetness perception. Pretty solid small saison here. Like! BVery (11385) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Tap at Piece Brewing in Chicago. Pale mostly clear yellow pour with a white head. Sour elements but not sour. Yeast. Fruit. Good carbonation. Nice. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Growler purchased at the brewery and shared with the Pipeworks Guys (Chicago, IL). Pours a nicely hazed golden glowing hue, offering bright white cakey head that laces well overall, a thicker ring with solid lacing. Good hues, gentle haze, brighter vibrant glow. Aromas are fresher fruit, apple and straw, bready malts, touches of dough, cereal grains, gentle yeasty spice is mellow. Clean and summery, a kiss of citrusy hops, gentle dryness. Aromas open up more as it warms, giving a firm bitterness and hop bite for the smaller style. Kisses of lemon, gentle sweet fruit. Initial is vibrant, good florals and fruit, touches of grapefruit grow, mellow lemon and dry bitter hops. Grass, bready grainy dry malts. Touch of spice, smooth sweetness, richer fruit elements and a nice American hop kick. Touches of grapefruit, peach, and dryness into the backend and finish. A bit of grainy doughy malt in the middle, but quite light and sessionable overall. Gentle yeast, firm American hopping for the style really gives it some oomph and dryness. Lingering touches of citrus, dryness, and straw. Gentle yeast doesn’t play much of a factor, mellow sweetness, dry lingering hop finish is firm yet not overwhelming. Really nice summer sessioner at 5%. Dryness, grapefruit linger on with a kiss of spice. Really nice.
