Toffee, caramel, fruit and citrus aroma. Pours a brown/orange color with an off white head and decent lacing. Nice malty, bready sweetness some dark fruit character. Tasty kinda like bock grain bill meets American hops maybe English yeast

Tap at Half Acre Tap Room, Chicago. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is weak dry yeast with a medium bitter flavour and a hop spice weak liqourice bitter nutty crisp yeast palate. It grew on me over time.

16oz can from Deli Lama. Surprised I have never rated before. Pours a brownish tan with a tan head leaving lots of spotty lacing. Aroma has stone fruits citrus and pale malt. Taste is off sweet toffee fruit some bitter lemon and some bread. Light and sweet - has a bit of a gingerale component to it.

Always been an interesting beer. I think it has many layers of flavors...maybe nuts maybe light smoke... It's a change up from their aggressive hop beers , which are amazing, this turns that down but still has a slight presence in the taste... Slight... Thanks half acre... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at brewery. The pour is a nice deep brown with a thick head. The aroma is mostly nutty. The taste smooth, but not overly flavorful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pour is dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, and bread. Flavor is more hoppy than expected, but much like the aroma. Dry finish, medium to high carbonation levels. Tastes like an APA mixed with a Brown Ale.

16 oz can, thanks Ryan. Cola garnet-black, nitro-style frothy tan head without the nitro; big lacing. Aroma has black malt character, with chocolate, the slightest hint of roast and coffee, nutty sweetness, light toffee, yeasty tang. Flavor similar, with a light bitterness; finish is predominantly chocolate and bitter roast. Mouthfeel is also not much past cola; soft, full carbonation borders on fizzy. Seems like a nut brown / black ale hybrid to me. Decent enough beer, I guess, but a bit boring.
