Tampa Wkly Gathering @TampaPourhouse-16oz can-pours a retaining thin white head and copper color. Aroma is sweet resin, medium malt-caramel. Taste is sweet resin, medium malt-caramel. dumontn (530) - St. Joseph, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2011
16 oz can pours reddish brown, almost no haze, frothy 1.5 finger head, great retention. Aroma is earthy, toasted malt, hint of chocolate, woody hop presence. Taste is toasted chocolatey malt, booze, floral, woody hops, nicely balanced. Body is light to medium, creamy, lower than avg carbonation, dry finish. Overall, a great malt forward session ale but needs some refinement (i.e. Half Acre needs to address the boozy character that comes across in some of their maltier ales. Pours a strangely murky brown. Looks and tastes like a homebrew which isnt a bad thing. Nicely sweet and malty with a solid hop bill that allows the beer to be balanced. nuplastikk (6655) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 4, 2012
16oz can shared by Brian. Unfiltered amber-brown. Caramel, malty aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth and sessionable. Nice mix of malt tastes, from Amber to Nut Brown. Lots of toffee. Nails the style, well done.

Medium, pale brown with a small creamy tan head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, light malt, a bit of sweetness. Medium thin body. Flavor is more hop than malt. Pine, citrus, and a bit of caramel malt with light chocolate. Solid brown but a little too hoppy for my tastes. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAY 19, 2013

On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, and a of molasses. It’s a dark brown with some orange transparency. It has a small beige head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of caramel, toffee, and a hint of molasses. The finish had light-moderate roasted nuts. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.
