Can, canned 1/20/17 - Thank you, Half Acre, for coming to Wisconsin with fresh beer. You brought Pony, which is a beautiful straw yellow with a white head and a blast of flowery Noble hops on the nose. Nice dough notes with some sweetness, but overall just lovely. Tastes better, with grainy, doughy malt thats mostly dry but has a touch of honey sweetness. Noble hops are there, making it a lovely bouquet from start to finish. Long finish that lingers in the mouth--herbal and flowery. Yum yum yum. The world needs more fresh pilsner.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Bardzo fajna słodowość, ale troszeczkę zbyt ciężkie. Fajny, niemiecki charakter.

On tap at TJs. Poured a yellow color with a small sized head. Grassy, citrus, grains, and some pine. Nice and hoppy.

Can. It pours a clear golden yellow color with a frothy white head. The aroma has very lightly toasted grains with a hint of corn and very light earthy noble hops. Smells like a macro, only a bit stronger. The flavor has a bit more character with some pleasant lemongrass hoppiness up front followed by solid earthy bitterness. Clean pale malts in the background. The mouth feel is pretty full for a Pils, but thats probably due to the unusually high gravity. The finish is dry though. A pretty nice Pils, but I would prefer it about 1% lower alcohol.

Draft at Bru Craft. Hazy gold pour with soft white foam. Pilsner bready/cracker malts. Clementine. Twigs. Somewhat more robust Pilsner than the norm but still not nearly a favorate when looking at all other Half Acre brews.

Clear light golden under a foamy white cap. Crisp bready German grainy nose with a light citrusy grassy noble hop. Crisp bready and cracker flavor, light noble hops provide a slight grassy tone and just enough bitterness to balance. Clean and crisp and crackery.

Pint can. Grainy malt aroma with light grassy hop notes. Pours pale clear golden colored with one finger of white head that has excellent retention but little lacing. Starts with grain malt flavors to go with a very light refreshing body. Finishes dry, crisp and clean with a slight bitterness from grassy hop flavors that dissipates quickly to leave very little aftertaste. Good, refreshing pils.
