2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not my fave thing from the local brewery, I tend to not like the one-hop focused brews. Looks beautiful in a 20oz+ tall pint glass, hazy orange. Smells vegetal, slightly citrus, not exactly inviting. Taste was off for me, weirdly vegetal and not hoppy like I think of hoppy. Very nice fizzy carbonation makes it more refreshing. Full disclosure, I had this after a 13oz pour of Najava in a firkin with an extra half pound of hops, which was awesome. I’m hoping I am good enough to tease out the flavors of a second beer after one strong, hoppy beer. But maybe I am an idiot.
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2016 Draft at Bru Craft. Very hazy yellow gold pour with soft soapy white foam. Lots of lace. Not much aroma when cold. Bright grassy citrus hops. Meyer lemons. Key limes. Fresh oak. Parsley. Lemongrass. Pineapple. Dandelion. Chlorophyll. Slightly sweet and sour. Invigorating, solid and refreshing. Dogbrick (14316) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 10, 2016
Slightly hazy bright golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Herbal hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, floral hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall. Awktoberfest (415) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 1, 2016
Delightful in every way. Slight bitterness and so refreshing. Another well done pale by HA.

64 oz. growler from the brewery. Pours a nice, bright gold with a pale white head. Aroma of delicious amarillo hops. Lemon, orange, gumballs, Some pine and floral notes. Light cracker and bready malt aromas. Flavor is bright, clean, dry, with lots of flavorful citrus bitterness. Mild earthy fruits. Some biscuit and cracker malts as well. Medium bodied, nice texture, lively carbonation. Finishes bitter and nice. Loved this. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2013 Draft, pours slightly hazy bright gold with white head. Aroma has a pleasant grapefruit rind, floral, slight pine. Flavors have a firm bitterness, grapefruit rind/citrus fruit is very vibrant on the palate, malt base has a slight toast and cracker bent to it but isn’t as toasty as daisy. Seem earthy fruit notes finish. The bitterness is a touch high to make this truly sessionable and the whole experience is a little one dimensional but as it is, it’s a solid extra pale.
