Very nice collaboration, aroma of grapefruit, floral taste but not has hippy as expected for an IPA.

Bottle pour! Super fresh and dank with a great citrus and grapefruit taste to it! The hops are amazing in this brew!

[Tap] Pours a golden color with a light haze to it. Tropical fruit and pineapple aroma. Sweet grains and piney/dank hops come out moreso in the taste. Dry and bitter zesty finish. Good stuff. Tasting notes from 2/2014.

Orangish yellow pour. Loads of resin, grapefruit peel, lightly balanced by some caramel malt.

No seen bottling date.
Appearance: The body is moderately hazy with a golden to orange hue. The head is short and thin, settling into a transparent coating that’s rather foamy.
Aroma: The hop aroma is dominate with big fruitiness. I get mango, a dankness that reminds me of Simcoe, pineapple, honeydew, hints of toasted malts, and a mix of orange, tangerine and grapefruit.
Taste: Up front is a quick mango and cantaloupe sweetness which is quickly pushed aside by a dry carbonic mid-taste that has floral overlays. The cantaloupe picks up by the finish with orange juice and mango on the back-end. The fruitiness is most noticed during the finish that lingers on the palate for a few minutes.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing, moderate to highly carbonated.
Overall: This is a nice IPA, but I feel that it’s a bit thin in flavor and it seems a bit pricey. I enjoy this, but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again.

Draft. Gold pour, white head. Poor retention/good lace. Aroma of melon, citrus hop, caramel malt. Taste is moderately biter, melon, citrus, tropical, lemon, caramel malt. Palate is dry, soft, slick, bitter finish.

22 ounce bottle from Timfoolery, citrus aroma, orange pour, slight head, effervescent, grapefruit.

Clownoisseur (486) - Buchanan, Michigan, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Pours a hazy gold, medium carbonation, medium white foamy head. Aromas of earth, pine and big citrus. Taste nor aroma is all that bold, in my opinion. Was hoping for a bit more flavor, but this does have a nice balance to it. Nice malt bill that lightly accentuates the hops. A nice and dry finish holds this one together nicely, but nothing jumped out at me.

Huge thanks to Sam for this bottle! Slightly cloudy apricot pour. Nose and flavor are predictable but delightful, with big clementine, spruce tip, lemongrass, hints of peach, incredibly lean on the malt. Clean body. Very very well done.
