Bomber from Fischmans shared with ck1, thanks beermenus! Pours a dark brown with a tannish head leaving some lacing. Aroma has roast and bakers chocolate with faint nuttiness. Taste is of a nice bittersweet chocolate/coffee blend. Quite roasty underneath. Very solid. Imperial brown? yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2013

Bottled. A dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Rasmus40 (20639) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2013
Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and moderate hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 150313 Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2013
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of kristina. Pours a clear reddish brown with a small, off-white head. Sweet nutty nose with somewhat greasy hops. Medium body, burned caramel, nuts and again somewhat greasy hops not adding all that much bitterness. But quite a pleasant Imperial Brown. 150313

22oz bottle thanks to jbickus. Pours a really dark brown into the glass with a nice head. Roasty caramel aroma. Some coffee notes. Complex aroma. Dry finish and a great mouth feel. Quality beer. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - FEB 15, 2013

Very dark pour, looks like a cup of coffee. Smells a lil hoppy and has a little kick of hops, not much but it makes a great beer.

22 oz. bottle pours a dark reddish brown with moderate beige head and good lacing. Not much to smell. However, the aroma is big, malty, and nutty. There’s lots of caramel, roasted almonds, toffee, and some roasted grains. Each sip brings out something different. Taste is sweet with slight bitterness and nuttiness in the finish. Body is at least medium without too much carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky and alcohol is well hidden. A very solid, complex offering and one of the best from this local brewery. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2012
On tap at the taproom. Pours a near clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has coffee up front with a hint of dark grains underlying. Flavor starts with some coffee but mellows to dark grain and roasted malts.
