Draft pour in their taproom. Bright orange and cloudy. Sticky head. Aroma is intense - grapefruit I think. Bitter taste, smooth, mild hops, fruity. Delicious IPA. Liked this better than the double daisy cutter and a tie with Space ale

16 oz. can. Clear orange body. Smells of orange, resin, and floral hops. Light caramel malt. Tastes of citrus and a little bit of perfumey hops. Sweet biscuit malt. Resiny hop bitterness is pretty aggressive, but not unwelcomed. Medium body. Impressive.

Scipio (1046) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Pours a hazy, yellowish golden with a medium white head that slowly recedes. The aroma is lighter and gives a sweet impression. It contains floral hops, grapefruit, pine, and lemon. The taste is sweet, dry, and kind of bitter. It gets a little close to being too sweet in my opinion. Here we have grapefruit, pine, mango, floral hops, and a minor caramel. The flavors are balanced well without anything being dominant. Mild grapefruit aftertaste. Medium in body, a bit of a sticky texture, and average in carbonation. This falls among your average IPAs.

16oz can from Shoreline Beverage pours a sunny gold with some ringing, white head. Old school nose, catty, piney, skunky dank, some lemon and floral notes too. Flavor has lemon, hand soap, herbs, but quite catty still. Finishes bitter and dry. Lacks some complexity but very drinkable.

Nice West Coast style IPA. Feeling lucky to have this on tap at Ambulance Brew House in Nanuet, NY.
