Pours cloudy yellowish with a small head. Aroma of fruits, yeast, earthy notes and hints of spices. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly yeasty with some fruits, earthy notes and spices. Finish is smooth, sweet and slightly yeasty. Decent.
On tap @ Half Door. Clear golden pour with a white head. Smells pretty spice forward...has some fruity esters as well. Big on banana, pear, and apple. Sort of grassy. There’s more bitterness than I’d expect on the finish, which kind of clashes with the sweet malt and fruit character. Sort of peppery and spicy overall, too. But, at least a nice bready malt note.
