Can sample at a tasting at Maxís place. Thanks Alon. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of citric hops, a bit floral. Flavor has light bready sweetness, and bitterish citric hops. Light-bodied. Decent, refreshing. mansquito (6338) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 4, 2016
At the source: pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is light citrus and white bread. Tste ia lightly bitter. Citrusy. Very light and refreshing. A super pleasant beer. malrubius (2861) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Can from Trader Joes. Clear pale gold with lasting white head and lace. Mild aroma or citrus and a hint of pleasant floral soapiness. Mild grassy sweet malts with a hint of tropical fruit and dry citrus and grassy finish. Very light and refreshing. Well made if not bold. Would be a perfect beer to turn on a macro drinker to micros. Very good. ChadPolenz (1804) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Blonde ales tend to be some of the most boring beers ever since theyíre deliberately mild. In the case of Half Full Bright Ale itís probably better considered a standard American pale ale even though it claims to be a hybrid of those two styles. Plenty hoppy for a light pale ale, though not much in the way of malty distinctiveness or other refined character.

I poured a 12oz can into a mason jar. There was no freshness date and it cost $2.65 ($0.22 per ounce).
Appearance: Bright yellow hue over a fairly hazy body. Fine carbonation visible. Pours to a large, white, soapy head which laces and retains fairly well.
Smell: Grapefruit flesh and peel. Light floral scent.
Taste: The palette here is pretty simple: grapefruit hop flavor from beginning to end. Light dry bitterness up front with a bit of a juicy taste through the middle and a pretty mild, clean finish. There isnít much more to it than that; though whatís here is at least pretty delectable and interesting. Itís not sweet, nor does any particular malt (base or specialty) stand out (though that wouldíve been nice). The hop flavor and IBUs are at a nice level so as to give the beer some bite, but still mild enough to not be intimidating. This would be a good transition brew for macro lager drinkers.
Drinkability: As far as I can tell, Half Full Bright Ale isnít a summer seasonal, but it can be drank as such. The body is light and the beer is refreshing in the mouth despite the hop presence. I am surprised itís 5.2% ABV as it drinks like a much lighter brew so it seems rather inefficient to me. Good to drink in the summer, though probably not ideal for sessioning.
Can. A hazy, golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite citrusy and peachy, with a soft malty fruity touch. Thereís some bitterness in the flavor, with peaches, some piney and citrus peel-ish notes and a touch of pale malts. Itís medium bodied, soft and semi-dry on the palate. Semi-long citrusy, bitter finish with a touch of peaches. Quite nice this one, and very refreshing. 150613

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, peach and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long peach and orange finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 4/18/15
Aroma: This has a clean aroma of light floral hops, as well as some mild citrus.
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a thick frothy white head and some average lace.
Flavor: It has a pretty decent flavor, clean and light, but still pretty decent.
Palate: It has a fairly light body, with a soft carbonation, and a lightly dry finish.
The brewery calls this a Blonde Ale, not an APA (and I would tend to agree). Iím not sure why it is an APA on here. Anyway, this is a decent enough beer. A good entry craft offering for those new too craft, but not a particularly exciting beer.
Nice floral citrus hop aroma with a light maltiness. Cloudy yeasty appearance. Taste is light and refreshing but with descent body for a lighter beer. Citrus/ floral hops are well balanced with the malt. Not bad at all. A nice refreshing beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone BrewBoxer (2632) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2014

From a can into a snifter. Light gold with a solid head. Aroma and flavor of citrus hops, lemongrass, pale biscuity malt. Lively, medium + carbonation. Nice mellow lingering aftertaste. A really nice light, sessionable craft beer.
