Bottle. Nose is pleasantly hoppy, not too string, but definitely not too weak. Taste, while sipping, is cool and crisp, slightly watery, kind of like soda water. Hops then kicks in right after the sip. Great flavor. Flavor is of hops and very slight floral notes, with hops dominating. Slight yeast detected i nthe afertaste. Very refreshing. I wish I had left this one in the freezer a bit longer. Carbonation is slightly deficient.
On tap at Facebook in Menlo Park, CA. Aroma is wood, caramel, stale herbs, something floral like from my grandma’s house (despite that sounding terrible, I actually enjoyed the aroma). Taste moves to bitter / vegetal wood pretty quickly. Didn’t get a great malt balance but again, enjoyed the strange aroma. 77ships (9828) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - FEB 25, 2016
Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark amber orange, little white head. Nose is sweet industrial woody herbal syrup, oddly sticky, unpleasant with low pine resin. Taste is weird plaster, dough, industrial woody syrup,… Feels processed almost. Not a fun, unpleasant industrial-like syrup affair. Bomber. Tall Boys, Leeds. As Mavericks Amber Ale. Hazy, reddy amber. Good covering of lasting, off white head. Nose has light toffee malts. Some berry fruit. Some earthy nuttiness. Taste is light dry. Light sweet. Foamy mouthfeel. Light dry finish. Probably well past it’s prime, and just about OK as a result.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Dark amber pour with a white head. The aroma has some toffee, caramel and grass notes. The flavor is full of toffee, caramel, graham cracker, honey and cocoa. Overall it is very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 19, 2013
