Draft at the brewery. Clear copper penny color with a small white head. Aroma is is tropical, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, floral. Flavor is very hop forward, in marked contrast to other IPAs here. Pretty legit. Tropical with resin and a sweet caramel base. Medium body, nice brutal feel. Really solid.

On tap at the Pacific Standard Taproom. It pours a clear pale golden color with a creamy off white head. The aroma has bright notes of blueberry, tropical fruit, orange and grapefruit. Maybe a little mixed berry. Sweet and hoppy. The flavor is the same. Light honey and toasted malt with big blueberry, grapefruit, orange with a little pine. Light to medium floral/piney bitterness. The body is a little on the heavy and sweet side, but not overly crystal malt laden. Good overall.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 Enjoyed this the second time around. These guys are really turning out better stuff lately. Here was my previous thought with a 3.2 rating..... Bomber to pint glass. Pungent, dank and tropical aroma with overt thistle and pot meadow. Clear pale orange with moderate white head that leaves a collar of small bubbles. Flavor is dank, pine and tropical - but it does not really marry well. Moderate high bitter finish. Became more balanced (and improved the score) as it warmed.

A lovely tasty and refreshing ale
Hazy deep golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing down the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. A bit oily texture. Tropical, pine, malty and grapefruit hoppy.
