Not my favorite. Like this brewery, and usually they do a great beer... but this one wasn’t that great... just okay.
Draft from the brewery. Caramel. Not my favorite beer style or my favorite from HP. AWS9 (736) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle. Nice crispiness, with solidly malt-backed hops. Some caramel, brown sugar finish. Very drinkable as amber ales go. Brettsky06 (513) - Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 28, 2016
Pours an orangey brown color. Malty aroma and taste. Grains also in the aroma. Has some floral notes in the taste as well ComradeK (1256) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 20, 2015
Draught at Across the Board, Winnipeg. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Floral and spice hops mix with nutty malt to create the aroma. Moderate floral and sweet citrus hops up front give way to a nice nutty malt backbone, with a little spice in the finish. A nice balanced amber ale. Ratman197 (15208) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2015
Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel and earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel and light earthiness with a smooth finish.

I think cascade hops are my favourite. I love what they do to this amber ale. Aromas are really nice fresh green melon and toasted bread. Flavours are sweet and fresh melon followed by a nice light toastiness. I think this is delicious and refreshing.Patrickctenchi (6691) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 12, 2015

A really nice beer! Toasted notes in the aroma. Beautiful auburn in color with flowers and honey on the palate. Great local beer.
Slightly hazed, amber with a small white head.
Toasty caramel, butter scent.
Sweet grain and caramel malt flavour.
A little earthy bitter.
Pretty good. GraffitiVandal (150) - Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
ENG: 341ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Beautiful clean, amber color with medium tan head and a bit of lacing. Malty aromas with hints of floral hops. Tastes very caramelly, roasty, malty, a bit hoppy but it’s barely noticeable. There is also an interesting chocolate, woody and soy sauce flavor underneath, perceptible after a little while. Delicate but long bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation and medium body, a bit creamy. Overall very interesting, tasty and drinkable british-styled Ale.shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 30, 2015
PL: Butelka 341ml zakupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do kieliszka. Średnie nasycenie i średnie odczucie, lekko kremowe. Podsumowując bardzo interesujący, smaczny i pijalny Ale w brytyjskim stylu.
Bottle. Buttery barley malt and light hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate off-white head. Mildly sweet butter, barley malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Decent. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - JAN 26, 2015
Bottle to half-pint glass (thanks cards04). Looks solid; a cloudy dark orangish brown with foamy eggshell head. Smells malty and mildly toasty with notes of caramel. Tastes like it smells with less toast and a bit of hops in its place. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Not bad.
