This brew is gold in colour with a tight white head. The aroma is of sweet grain, while the body has a toasted honey character from the melanoidin malt we add. There’s an herbal hoppy nose from the Mount Hood hop (a Hallertau variety grown in the NW United States) and a fruity finish from a cool ale fermentation.

Not one of my favorites from these guys. Draft at their bar. Little head, Grassy.

Bottle. Found this one to be a bit ’off’. Decent hops and mouthfeel, but then had a kind of veggy aftertaste that kind of ruined it all. Perhaps a bad batch... Oh well.

Golden yellow color. Medium carbonation. Sweet grainy aromas. Taste is a little sweet with some floral notes. Grainy taste as well

341 ml bottle @ Silver Heights Winnipeg. Pours a very pale clear straw yellow. Aromas are mild fruit and grain. Tastes are light grains and not much more. Light body, smooth, assertive carbonation. Very sessionable but this is in no way a pale ale, more like a mass produced lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Pale golden pour. The aroma is light and spicy. There’s a little bit of floral hoppiness and a touch of lightly fruity estery character. Simple pale ale but decent.

Backlog. Bottle courtesy of Iphonephan at Travlr’s DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Cloudy yellow with bare white head. Malt dominates over lite floral and citrus hops. Eh.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread and earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread and earthiness with a smooth finish.
